This week, in our 2 week olds, we have paint, chocolate paint, chocolate, black, and blue. In the paints and chocolate paints there is a chance of silkie, smoothie, frizzle in both of those, as well as a few showgirls. They are 10 each, 3 chick minimum.
There are a handful of blue and black in the one month olds. They are 15 each, 3 chick minimum.
This week's paints are all from Stephanie Saflin's beautiful brood. I just love those tails!

There has been some chatter on the internet about pricing and quality. There is no correlation between the two at our farm. We sell all babies at the same price because you just don't know what you are going to get until they grow out. Our breeding stock is excellent. We don't breed anyone with disqualifications and stick as close to the SOP as we possibly can. Even though we don't show, it doesn't mean you can't. You could likely find a winner in the babies you get, but it's not a certainty.
Why we don't show. At all of the shows locally, they only require a pt test. Which means our stock could be snuggling right up to someone with one of those invisible viruses. I just can't risk it. But, it doesn't mean you shouldn't! We love looking at all the pretty babies ya'll bring out. And on that note, we hope to see everyone at the Klein Poultry Extravaganza in just a few weeks. Fingers crossed I don't get sick this year!
